Katja Reider was the press spokesperson for the Jugend forscht competition before she began writing. She has since published more than 100 children's and young adult books, which have been translated into many languages. More about Katja Reider at katjareider.de. Ag grew up by the sea and spent most of her childhood painting. She later studied graphic design and illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. Today, she works as a freelance illustrator. Ag loves theater, traveling, books, coffee, and long walks with her husband and son.
