The Lumina absorbent insert made of hemp and cotton is a great companion for you and your baby. The insert is ideal for increasing the absorbency of the diaper without adding too much bulk. Hemp is a great material that is resource-saving and can be grown locally. Due to the body shape, the insert does not crumple in the crotch and thus offers your baby increased comfort.
Since hemp hardens more quickly, I recommend not wearing the insert directly on the baby's skin, but rather using it as a bottom layer. A great combination is, for example, the bamboo insert or the absorbent insert made of bamboo charcoal from Lumina.

Since it is a natural material, the insert can shrink by up to 15% when washed.
It takes about 6-10 washes for the pad to reach its full absorbency. However, it is sufficient to wash it once before first use.
